I'm Back
I just got back from a week long Boy Scout camp in Pueblo, Colorado. The place was called San Isabel Scout Ranch. It had OK food, but nowhere near what I have been privileged to eat during the time that i've been eating actual cooked meals. Speaking of awesome food, my Oma makes the best lemon meringue pie, and I sure hope that i'll be able to help her make it when I go there in August. Although, Oma, I'm actually in eighth grade now, and at the time, I was in seventh. Even so, it was a whole middle school thing, so if you change that post, I wouldn't mind, if you know what I mean. Back to San Isabel, we went whitewater rafting down the Arkansas River on I think mostly Class 2 rapids, with maybe three sections that were Class 3. I need to review my Eagle required merit badges with the troop counselors, those being Camping and Environmental Science. I also got one regular badge, Bird Study. The whole thing was pretty fun. Well, here's my closing statement. I love the whole plasma physics thing, Oma. I'm going to try to make an effort to post more often. Bye!

Who's Got Talent?
It was the last day of school yesterday, and we had the talent show. Evan, one of my eighth grade friends, had performed in a group of three asian guys dancing to a hip-hop song. It was hilarious. Justin, Max, and I called the group the Asian Crew. They ended up getting second place in the eighth grade. They were beaten by a duet of two girls who sang and played piano to a compilation of Rolling In The Deep by Adele and Jar Of Hearts by Christina Perri, and they beat a girl singing and playing guitar to Holiday by Greenday. Her encore was Eight Days A Week by The Beatles. For the seventh grade, third place went to a girl signing Me by Taylor Swift, second went to a girl doing some kind of exotic dance to a hip-hop song, and first was another girl signing Phantom Of The Opera. The sixth graders had an Irish dance as their third place, another duet that I honestly can't remember for second, and for first, they had a band performing two rock songs. That was awesome. It was the fan favorite by far. Everybody was fist pumping and doing the wave. It brought us all together until next year. It was awesome.
